Requirements for Production
Production Staff
30-40 HRS WEEKLY
Gideon’s Bakehouse has a production warehouse that is all about the Cookies! We’re looking for a reliable team player that will mix, weigh, shape, decorate, and bake our award-winning Cookies! Other responsibilities include the preparation of ingredients, packaging responsibilities, and facility cleanliness.
Members of our Cake Team are responsible for baking, assembling, and decorating a variety of flavors and styles of Cakes.

Availability and Attendance: Our staff works an average of 30-40 hours a week, 365 days a year, with a variety of different shifts.
Productions Standards: Employees must be able to keep pace with production standards and expectations.
Education/Experience: Every Florida food employee must complete employee Food Handler training related to their specific job duties.
Language Ability: Ability to speak and understand English, listen effectively, and respond clearly and directly.
Math Ability: Perform necessary calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors.
Reasoning Ability: Identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes of problems. Evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence. Take action beyond what is necessarily requested. Perform under pressure and/or opposition.
Personal Skills: Possess excellent communication skills with co-workers and management. Establish and meet goals, budget time, and set priorities to achieve desired objectives.
Requirements for Customer Service
Front of House
Gideon’s Bakehouse is hiring for Shop Keeper Positions! This is a heavy Customer Service and Cash Handling position. We’ve been named Best Cookies in the United States and Best Desserts in Florida. We need people that take pride in that, celebrating the company they represent with their best work. We are looking for an outgoing, upbeat, people-person who works well under pressure (we get very long lines) and who understands how to provide experiences, not simple transactions.
Applicants must be 18 years of age and must have open availability at least 4 days a week, including Saturday and Sunday. We are open 365 Days a Year so availability over the holidays is a must!
